
To make this happen, I built and led a team of five UX designers, ensuring we had the right mix of skills to tackle both interface design and service design. We worked closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, diving deep into the needs of small business owners and large merchants alike.
Our approach was holistic—we weren’t just designing screens; we were crafting an ecosystem. We explored how merchants interact with hardware (like mobile card readers), how transactions should flow within the app, and how to make financial management intuitive. We paid special attention to reducing friction in checkout flows, improving transaction visibility, and ensuring a smooth integration with the broader Fintech platform.
